DPD Food Distribution Event @ Douglasville Police Department

DPD Food Distribution Event @ Douglasville Police Department | Douglasville | Georgia | United States

On Tuesday, September 21 at 12:30 pm, the Douglasville Police Department is working in conjunction with the Atlanta Community Food Bank to distribute food to Douglas County residential households in need. This “free food drive thru” is on a first come, first serve basis while the food lasts. It is our goal to make this fast and easy. As vehicles enter for the distribution, they will line up and meet with a volunteer who will be asking reference households and then the vehicle will continue through the line where the food will be placed into the vehicle. The food will be placed either in the trunk or backseat, no need for anyone to exit the vehicle. If you have any questions or concerns on the event, please contact Sgt. Shannon Dean at 678.293.1621 or deans@douglasvillega.gov prior to the date of the event.
